Vince Valdes is the Associate Administrator for FTA’s Office of Research, Demonstration, and Innovation (TRI), which provides a forum for transit research at the national level and facilitates the development of innovative transit practices and technologies to support national public transportation.

Gwo-Wei Torng is the Director of Mobility Innovation in TRI. In this capacity, he oversees the FTA mobility research portfolio that includes several current FTA priorities, such as Accelerating Innovative Mobility, Transit Automation Research, and Mobility Payment Integration. 

Christina Gikakis an Engineer and Program Manager in TRI where she focuses on emerging and advanced transportation technologies.  She serves as the technical lead for the AIM Initiative.

Walt Mokey is a Transportation Program Specialist with the FTA Office of Program Management.
